  • From 16 October: New bus fares and bus ticket app – for the whole of Agder

    On Monday 16 October 2017, many changes were implemented for bus passengers in Agder. The changes comprise new bus fares, a new zone system and a new ticket app – for the whole of Agder. Overall, the new measures will simplify travelling by bus. The fares and zone structure is now the same in both counties. An AKT Billett app has also been introduced, making it easier to buy single tickets in advance for all services throughout Agder. Note that pre-paid single tickets are cheaper than single tickets purchased using cash or a credit/debit card on board the bus. From 16 October advance payment with AKT Billett app or pay-as-you-go credit on your travelcard gives you a 40% discount on single tickets for children, adults and seniors.

  • NEW! Line 100D direct: Arendal–Kristiansand and Lillesand–Kristiansand during peak hours

    On August 7th a new busline 100D started – reducing travel time during peak hours. Between Arendal and Kristiansand there are 2 departures in both directions in the morning and 2 departures in both directions in the afternoon. Travel time approx. 1 hour. Between Lillesand and Kristiansand there is 1 departure from Lillesand in the morning, and 1 departure from Kristiansand in the afternoon. Travel time approx. 30 min.

    Due to road work on Vardåsveien between Torsvikheia and Torsvikkleiva, the road will be closed for ordinary traffic from 14th August. The estimated duration of the closure is until 13 November (updated info). Ordinary route for M3 from 14 October, temporary alternative route for A3 from 16 October

    The real time system (SIS) is being introduced to the Kristiansand area during autumn 2013. The system was presented to the public 4 September 2013, on bus stops and on board buses. Real time provides better and more up-to-date information and gives you a better overview, thus making it easier for you to travel by bus. Real time provides security and predictability for all bus travellers and is being implemented so that you as a passenger should feel better looked after.
