AKT mobile ticket app
For those who occasionally travel by bus in the Kristiansand area. Our mobile ticket app (called AKT Mobilbillett) makes it easy to purchase single bus tickets (for the Kristiansand area) in advance. Travelling with a mobile ticket is a more affordable alternative then cash payment when boarding the bus. You can choose to pay via SMS (payment via telecom operator) or credit card (VISA/MasterCard), which is the cheapest alternative. Remember that the mobile ticket is not valid on night buses, airport buses and express buses.

HOW TO USE THE MOBILE TICKET APP
Below you will find instructions on how to get started with the mobile ticket app. AKT Mobilbillett is currently in a beta version, which means that minor changes can be implemented in later versions. Note: you have to download and use the mobile ticket from the same mobile phone.
1. Download the mobile ticket app
- Search for «AKT Mobilbillett» in App Store or Google Play.
2. Enter your user information
- Register your mobile number and email address
3. Receive your password by SMS and log in
- You can change your password under «Min Profil» (My Profile)
4. Choose your method of payment (SMS or credit card)
- SMS (payment via telecom operator) is the default setting.
- If you wish to pay by credit card (Visa/MasterCard), you can register your card via the app or here.
5. Buy ticket(s)
- Select the travel route, ticket type(s) and number of tickets. It is possible to add multiple ticket types on the same mobile ticket.
- Press «Kjøp» (Buy). The ticket is paid for and must now be activated within 24 hours.
- Activate the ticket before you board the bus. The mobile ticket is valid for 2 hours after activation.
- Keep your mobile phone ready and show the mobile ticket to the bus driver.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AKT'S MOBILE TICKET APP
The products sold via the mobile ticket app are electronic travel passes that must be presented to the driver when boarding the bus and the ticket inspector if necessary. This also includes bus transfers. The travel passes that can be purchased via mobile phones are; single tickets (adults, children and concessionary) for the different fare zones in Kristiansand area. Buy your ticket all the way to the destination zone. The ticket is valid for 120 minutes after activation.
The registration of your VISA or MasterCard is done via the app under “Min profil” (My Profile) and “Betalingsmetode” (Method of payment). You can also use this external link: “Historikk & registrer bankkort”, but please note that the information is currently only available in Norwegian. Log in with your mobile number and PIN (same as in application). Then press the button to start registration of your desired credit card. After registration your method of payment shown in the app will automatically be switched to “kort” (card).
All prices are in Norwegian kroner and are shown both including and excluding VAT and other charges. In addition, there will be an SMS-charge from your telecommunications provider, if this payment method is used. Total cost of the purchase (except the SMS-charge from your telecommunications provider) will appear before confirming the transaction. The prices are according to the current fare regulation for mobile ticketing. AKT is the fare authority and the price will be changed if fare regulations are modified.
Distribution of the order to the mobile phone occurs immediately after completing the purchase.
Activation of the AKT mobile ticket
Your mobile ticket must be activated before boarding. Activation must take place within 24 hours of purchase. The activated ticket must be presented to the driver when boarding the bus. A mobile ticket that has not been activated before boarding is not considered a valid travel pass.
Payment is made either via SMS or VISA/MasterCard. Payment via SMS is only possible with a mobile subscription from a Norwegian telecom operator Transactions are handled by PayEx, who offer a secure online payment solution for VISA and MasterCard/Eurocard. All your credit card information is stored according to the credit card companies' regulations. Travel information about the mobile ticket will not be stored in the bank’s system.
Right of withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal for single tickets purchased via the mobile phone. A ticket that is downloaded to the mobile phone is considered used, even if the ticket is not activated.
If the product is defect, you need to make your claim in writing (email or letter) within a reasonable time period, after you discovered it. You will then receive information on what to do next. The rules on making a claim are written in “Lov om forbrukerkjøp” (consumer law).
We accept no liability for any misprints regarding prices and information about goods and services in the webshop. Circumstances that AKT cannot influence, such as third-party errors when transferring data or transactions, may affect the delivery of the order. In known error situations, we will inform about this on the AKT website.
HISTORY & REGISTER CREDIT CARD
If you wish to pay by credit card (VISA/MasterCard), which is the cheapest alternative, register your credit card on the mobile ticket app or on the registration page online. You can also get an overview of your transaction history.
